The Army’s Ready and Resilient Campaign (R2C) program ensures emphasis on resilience and suicide prevention and awareness. The coordinator provides guidance and advice to the adjutant general, senior commanders and managers regarding statutory requirements. The coordinator has advisory responsibility regarding death by suicide, 15-6 investigations of those deaths, and collaborates with various state and national government agencies for outreach, policy, training, support and research for the resilience, risk reduction and suicide prevention program. Preventive and educational programs such as ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Training), ACE and Resilience Training are being continually implemented and reviewed to provide the most recent statistics and preventive measures for all Soldiers, Family members and Civilian Counselors.
